The December Satellite list was just released and available here .   Why we do this each month I have been in the satellite business for years. During that time I have sold thousands of satellite finding meters to some of the finest dealers and installers in many countries.  Each month we do our best to provide a very complete satellite list that includes all the needed transponder parameters making it easy to find the satellite you are looking for. We also include the DVB-S or DVB-S2 format of each transponder. If you don't know, DVB-S2 is taking over and we have fewer DVB-S transponders each month as they are converted to DVB-S2.  Many meter owners are still using older meters that were made before DVB-S2 and work only on DVB-S. Some installers can't afford a new meter so they use the available DVB-S transponders to align the dish. Free Worldwide Satellite / Transponder List ( October 16, 2021 ) There is a lot of changes since the release of 2 weeks ago. What stands out is the diminishing number of DVB-S transponders. From 2 weeks ago there is a gain of 19 new transponders. There is 29 more DVB-S2 transponders and 10 fewer DVB-S transponders from just 2 weeks ago. What does this mean for you? If you are aligning dishes for a business or for your hobby, it is becoming more important than ever to have a modern alignment meter that will properly do DVB-S2. Use this list to easily look up the DVB-S transponders on any satellite. It is a good idea to check at least two transponders since many transponders are moving to DVB-S2. You will notice that DVB-S is loosing ground fast now. If you are using a old satellite meter you might consider upgrading to a DVB-S2 satellite meter.
